Here's the deal: Democracy shouldn't be this hard to practice. Right now it feels like we’re voting every few years and doom-scrolling in between. But real change happens when neighbors organize, when artists resist, when people show up to things that matter. We're building the infrastructure to make this easier. And we could use your help!

What we're working on:

• Creating digital platforms that connect people to events and organizing opportunities (starting with an event listing app)
• Offering design consultation to local nonprofits and community groups working on resilience and power-building
• Hosting workshops and facilitating research that helps us all organize smarter
• Producing and highlighting artistic work that inspires better futures

At Future Tense Collective, we work at the intersection of art, design, and tech to help the Missoula community build collective power. The future we want won't build itself, and we're tired of waiting for someone else to do it.

We're just getting started, but we'd love for more people to get involved. We can’t do it alone. If you're an artist, illustrator, designer, coder, facilitator, or event organizer who wants to put your skills toward democratic participation and collective action—let's work together!
